Poke Chase User Agreement

These terms govern account registration, marketplace listings, auctions, direct sales, consignments, middleman transactions, payouts, wallet credits, shipping, disputes, and moderation on Poke Chase.

Overview

Using Poke Chase means you agree to clear rules for both sides of every transaction

This agreement is tailored to the marketplace that is actually live: listings require real item photos, auctions are binding, direct sales reserve inventory during checkout, payouts flow through Stripe, and disputes are decided from platform evidence and transaction history.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement to use Poke Chase. You are responsible for accurate registration details, keeping your email current, and protecting your sign-in credentials. One person may not operate multiple accounts to avoid fees, suspensions, listing caps, or reputation consequences.

Your display name and handle may appear publicly on listings, transaction history, and profile reputation areas. Impersonation, inaccurate identity claims, and false payout details are prohibited.

2. Seller listing responsibilities

Every listing must accurately describe the exact item being offered. Photos must show the actual item for sale, not stock photos or another copy. If you list a graded card, the certification number, grader, and grade must match the slab in your possession.

Poke Chase may reject, remove, edit for clarity, or hold listings for moderation if the item appears counterfeit, misleading, duplicate, improperly categorized, or inconsistent with the uploaded images, condition notes, or marketplace rules.

3. Auctions, fixed-price sales, and offers

Bids are binding. Anti-sniping extensions may extend the end time, reserve prices may prevent settlement if not met, and a winning bidder must complete checkout within the required payment window or risk account penalties and cancellation.

Fixed-price listings are first-come, first-served. Starting checkout temporarily reserves the item for a short window. Accepted offers are binding unless Poke Chase cancels them because of non-payment, fraud review, or listing errors.

4. Middleman and escrow transactions

When a transaction uses a Poke Chase middleman or escrow flow, the buyer pays the platform first, the seller ships to Poke Chase, and funds are not released until inspection and verification are complete or the dispute process resolves the matter. Poke Chase may reject, return, or escalate items that do not match the listing.

Middleman review helps reduce fraud, but it is not a certification, grading guarantee, or authenticity warranty beyond the scope of the inspection actually performed.

5. Consignment terms

Consigned items remain your property until sold, but custody transfers to Poke Chase while the item is in our possession. Current consignment sales are subject to the platform consignment fee in effect at the time of sale, including the 15% fee described in the live consignment flow unless separate written terms are agreed.

If a consigned item remains unsold for more than 90 days, Poke Chase may require you to purchase return shipping before the item is sent back. If you request grading, that service is handled through a third-party grading company and carries its own delays, outcomes, and risks.

6. Payments, wallet balance, and payouts

Payments and seller payouts are processed through Stripe and connected Stripe payout accounts. Poke Chase may hold funds in escrow, in a reserved transaction state, or in a wallet hold while a dispute, chargeback, fraud review, or operational check is pending.

Your Poke Chase wallet is a platform balance, not a bank account. Promotional credits are not redeemable for cash unless explicitly stated. Platform fees, shipping costs, carrier adjustments, and other approved deductions may be taken from proceeds before payout.

7. Shipping, labels, and delivery

Sellers are responsible for accurate ship-from information, careful packaging, and valid tracking on direct shipments. If Poke Chase offers label generation or shipping rate tools through Chit Chats or another provider, those services are still governed by the carrier and provider terms.

Poke Chase is not the carrier and is not responsible for carrier delays, loss, address-entry mistakes made by users, or coverage denials by a carrier or shipping insurer. We may assist with claims, but carrier decisions remain outside our control.

8. Disputes, evidence, and feedback

Users must raise item-not-as-described, delivery, or transaction disputes within the platform time window shown in the product flow or, where no shorter window is shown, promptly after delivery or verification. Poke Chase may require photos, videos, tracking records, unboxing evidence, or other supporting material.

Feedback is limited to real completed transactions. Fake reviews, retaliation, harassment, and fabricated evidence are prohibited. Poke Chase may remove abusive or demonstrably false feedback and may suspend accounts that show a pattern of fraud or abusive dispute behavior.

9. Content, privacy, and third-party services

You keep ownership of the photos and descriptive content you upload, but you grant Poke Chase a non-exclusive right to store, display, resize, and retain that content as needed to operate the marketplace and preserve dispute evidence. Uploaded image metadata may be retained internally for fraud review and moderation.

Poke Chase relies on third-party services such as Stripe, Chit Chats, Brevo, Facebook, PriceCharting, and linked inventory or reputation sources. We are not responsible for downtime, pricing inaccuracies, delivery failures, or policy changes imposed by those providers.

10. Moderation, suspension, and liability limits

Poke Chase may suspend accounts, remove listings, freeze payouts, restrict marketplace features, or permanently terminate access where we reasonably suspect fraud, counterfeit goods, shill bidding, chargeback abuse, harassment, policy evasion, or other conduct that threatens users or the marketplace.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Poke Chase is a marketplace venue and service operator, not the manufacturer of listed goods. Except where we act directly as a middleman or consignment custodian, we are not responsible for seller-direct item condition, grading outcomes, third-party outages, indirect losses, or missed opportunities caused by delayed notifications.

11. Changes to these terms

Poke Chase may update this agreement as the marketplace evolves. Material changes may require renewed acceptance before continued use of some features. The version shown on this page is the version tied to new registrations that use the current registration flow.

12. Contact and interpretation

If you need clarification about these terms, contact Poke Chase through the support details published on the platform before using the affected service. If any one provision of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
